Armless[]

Armless is one of the enemies encountered in the cold and dark depths of the foundonthetape universe.

Appearance:[]

Armless is a very pale humanoid with no arms (Hence the name...), two bare legs, a large torso, thin black hair, two huge eye sockets, and a small open mouth with blood pouring profusely from it. His face is very similar to the face in Clip 094. His torso is darkened with blood running all around their body, which is trickling down in-between the legs. There are large black spots on the ankles and the large quantity of blood suggests that Armless has killed someone before, or was swishing around thelowerlevels prior to the player's arrival.

Mechanics:[]

Armless is the second enemy you face in the four foundonthetape .bsps, appearing in the finale. Armless only has one animation, running. The sound clip playing when Armless is awakened is the Poison Headcrab Zombie's attack breathing. He's not an actual NPC which can be killed. In Hammer Editor, Armless is classified as a tank object. Armless is activated by a trigger close to where he's released. When released, it'll follow a set path down the corridor all the way to the ladder at the end. If you're close to Armless, the screen will start to shake. Upon contact with Armless In Half-Life 2, the game will exit. In GMOD however, Armless will simply run past the player, and proceed along the set path. Choose to follow him and you'll be treated to watch him run against the ladder, now isn't that exciting? On a multiplayer let's play of the foundonthetape maps, one person got stuck in front of Armless and was being smashed against the ladder. If you attempted to kill Armless, the bullets will go through him.

Trivia:[]

Armless makes an appearance as a kill wall in a Team Fortress 2 Death Run map titled "dr_aconian_final". He goes through everything and has a huge hit box. He also has the voice of Robert James Hoffman III in his infamous single "The Yes Dance". Touching Armless will result in an instant death, hence the "kill wall" title.
Armless has been somewhat of a meme after foundonthetape's closure in 2011. In some memes, he's obsessed with making and devouring waffles. Succulent waffles.
He has many nicknames names such as "COMIX Armless" (2016, coined by Brutez.), "The DING Man" (2011, coined by unknown.), and "Kate the Armless Lass" (2011, coined by Violet Procyon) just to name a few.
